Honestly, the nail service here was quite underwhelming; I felt like I could have achieved a similar result myself. The styles and techniques they use seem incredibly dated, almost as if they're still operating in the 1980s. For me, it's definitely worth paying a bit more to ensure I receive a genuinely high-quality outcome.

This was hands down the best shellac manicure I've ever received. I opted for both a shellac manicure and a shellac pedicure during my visit, and the extensive palette boasted hundreds of shellac colours, making choice delightful. The technicians performed an absolutely fantastic job. Two weeks on, and despite my hands being constantly busy, my shellac still looks perfect, with only natural nail growth visible. I was so impressed that I've already scheduled my next visit. A quick note for future visitors: it's cash only.

As a newcomer to the area, I decided to try this spa for my monthly pedicure after reading some reviews, which turned out to be a significant mistake. My gel pedicure was completed in a mere 25 minutes, a stark contrast to the 45 minutes or more I'm accustomed to at my usual salon of ten years. Despite being on my feet all day and having considerable hard skin, none of it was addressed until I specifically requested it at the very end. My cuticles were unfortunately cut to shreds, and a corn on my toe was completely ignored. The entire process felt incredibly rushed, and the technician was quite rude throughout. When I expressed to the owner that the £40 charge was not justified for such poor service, she did reduce it by £10, but honestly, even that discounted price felt excessive for what amounted to little more than a colour change. I absolutely would not recommend this place if you're looking for a proper pedicure; save your money and seek services elsewhere.

I visited this salon for an acrylic removal and re-application, swayed by a friend's recommendation and its convenient location, though I typically frequent a different establishment in Sydenham. It's important to note that my nails were in excellent condition beforehand, a result of my consistent nail care routine. During the removal process, the technician alarmingly used the same drill bit on my natural nail bed that she had used for the acrylic top layer. I witnessed a piece of my nail fly off, and multiple layers of my natural nail were visibly shaved away. Realizing the damaging technique being employed, I immediately told the technician I would not be proceeding with the reapplication. Consequently, my nails were left paper-thin, riddled with hangnails, uneven edges, surface dents, and considerable pain. As someone who struggles with confrontation and anxiety in such situations, I found it difficult to address the issue directly. The following day, my boyfriend kindly made the call on my behalf to explain what had happened. However, the response we received was one of complete denial, with the blame being shifted entirely to my previous technician. Despite my boyfriend's polite insistence that we weren't looking to escalate the situation or cause a scene, Hannah, the owner, flatly refused to accept any liability. It appeared their service prioritized speed over quality, likely due to how busy they were at the time. My decision to pay and forgo the re-application was not a sign of satisfaction, but rather a desperate desire for the ordeal to simply be over. Surely, a more reasonable resolution could have been found for what was ultimately a £17 service. Upon visiting another salon shortly after, the technician there was genuinely shocked by the poor workmanship and technique, questioning how such a standard could ever be considered acceptable. As a local, I would have appreciated the opportunity to return, but unfortunately, the salon has now lost two potential customers.

I absolutely adore visiting this nail spa. My nails have been expertly done here on three separate occasions, even featuring some truly intricate designs, and I've consistently been delighted with both the finished look and the overall service. The entire team is wonderfully pleasant, and it's clear they pour a great deal of care and pride into every single treatment. I wholeheartedly recommend them, though I would easily give a perfect five stars if online booking were available and they accepted card payments.

My recent pedicure experience was profoundly disappointing, far from the relaxing treat I'd hoped for. From the outset, the technician's demeanor was off-putting; her abruptness and sour expression made it clear she wasn't enjoying her work, which certainly didn't contribute to a pampering atmosphere. Paying £28 for a service where the person performing it seems to actively dislike their job and delivers results inferior to what I could achieve myself is simply unacceptable. I was genuinely taken aback when my request for exfoliation on my feet and legs was flatly denied, especially since this is a fundamental part of any standard pedicure. The outcome was equally poor, leaving me with noticeable dry skin on the tops of my feet and between my toes, compounded by polish messily applied around my cuticles. To add to the frustration, the establishment operates on a cash-only basis without any prior notification, a policy I find utterly baffling and inconvenient; a simple sign on the counter would resolve this ridiculous oversight. Overall, it was a truly frustrating visit to a salon that seemed to have an excuse for every shortcoming, and I would strongly advise against bothering with this place.

This isn't the kind of establishment that promises a luxurious setting or an absolutely flawless manicure, but it comes at roughly half the price of those upscale places. Considering the cost versus the outcome, I find they do a very commendable job, and they genuinely put in the effort to accommodate their more particular and sometimes quite talkative clientele.
